MINISTRY LEADERSHIP COUNCIL
Our Ministry Leadership Council is the governing body of Salem. Seven members are elected on a rotating basis to represent our congregation. This team is responsible for administering the majority of the congregation's affairs. The Pastor also serves as a voting member of the Council, and our Business Manager and Principal serve as advisors.
MEET OUR PRESIDENT
Matt Noel has been a member of Salem since 2008. He has served on Salem's Missions Board and as a Communion Assistant, Usher, and Worship Assistant.
“I believe our highest priorities are: growth within our community - bringing those closest to us to have a relationship with Christ; robust youth ministry that is closely tied with our school; activate our congregation - more hands-on mission work by our congregation as a means to reach out to the community; a more robust small group program that strengthens our own relationship with Christ and with one another; and building our strategic vision."
He believes the MLC should be a board that serves the needs of the congregation, the church staff, the various ministries, and the school and that the Council should empower and support but also work hard to help channel God’s vision for Salem.
