We want your youth to live a lifetime guided by their faith in Jesus, surrounded by Christian community, and finding purpose in their vocational callings.
SaLem is a FAMILY
Salem Student Ministry helps make that happen in partnership with parents through small groups, youth nights, Bible study, worship, camps, and more. Check out a few simple ways to plug-in to this student ministry below!
Youth Nights are where students gather to hangout, play games, worship, and hear a devotion.
*Friday Night 6-8pm:
CLUB56 & JR. HIGH
*Sunday Night 6-8pm:
*alternating weeks, see schedule
CLUB56 is for 5th and 6th graders! We spend the first 30 minutes playing energetic games, often that serve as object lessons for the devotion. After a snack and water, students participate in an interactive devotion before heading home with parents! Every other Friday, 6-8pm
JR. HIGH NIGHT is for 7th and 8th grade students the first 30 minutes is spent playing games or doing an activity together. Then students hear a message and worship, before they head home with parents! Jr. High happens at the same time as CLUB56 in different locations. Every other Friday, 6-8pm
HIGH SCHOOL NIGHT is for 9th-12th graders. High School students are pulled in a lot of directions between sports, school, church, work, and applying for colleges. This event is a chance for students to slow down and be renewed by hearing God's Word and spending time in community. Lessons are more conversational and may include games, projects, and more! Every other Sunday, 6-8pm
SSM Groups are a new part of Salem Student Ministry! They are designed to help you grow your faith in a small group of other Christians, by meeting together regularly to share life and faith together!
Groups are a blast, and you grow really close with the people in your group, especially when hard things happen (like 2020). Groups meet at the homes of students once a month, and study curriculum provided by SSM!
It's easy to jump into a Group! Just click the button below, find a group with people in your area, and join!
*if you're interested in starting a group, email email@example.com
Confirmation is a one-year program for students who want to dive deeper into the Christian faith.
Some of the topics include...
Confession + Forgiveness
Things kick off with a weekend retreat at the Irvine Ranch Outdoor Ed Center.
For their final project, students will write their personal Faith Story and share it in a speech at a Testimony Night for family and friends.
*Classes happen in-person, once a month on Sunday nights 6-8pm. There are reading and projects that are done at home between classes. Each student is also asked to bring a parent or supportive adult to each class with them.
**This program runs Oct to Sept every year for students in 7th - 10th grade.

WE NEED YOUR HELP
God continues to be so faithful to our ministry to young people at Salem! In 2021, after a year of covid, we were able to add more youth nights, go to camps for the first time in years, grow our discipleship pathways like Confirmation, and more! In 2022, we have even more planned, like a brand new youth building, more family ministry events, new small groups, and we need your help getting there...
