JOIN THE FAMILY
We want your youth to live a lifetime guided by their faith in Jesus, surrounded by Christian community, and finding purpose in their vocational callings. Salem Student Ministry helps make that happen in partnership with parents through small groups, youth nights, Bible study, worship, camps, and more. Check out a few simple ways to plug-in to this student ministry below!

YOUTH
NIGHT
Youth Nights are where students gather to hangout, play games, worship, and hear a devotion.

*Friday Night 6-8pm:
CLUB56 & JR. HIGH

*Sunday Night 6-8pm:
HIGH SCHOOL

*alternating weeks, see schedule
CLUB56 is for 5th and 6th graders! We spend the first 30 minutes playing energetic games, often that serve as object lessons for the devotion. After a snack and water, students participate in an interactive devotion before heading home with parents! Every other Friday, 6-8pm

JR. HIGH NIGHT is for 7th and 8th grade students the first 30 minutes is spent playing games or doing an activity together. Then students hear a message and worship, before they head home with parents! Jr. High happens at the same time as CLUB56 in different locations. Every other Friday, 6-8pm

HIGH SCHOOL NIGHT is for 9th-12th graders. High School students are pulled in a lot of directions between sports, school, church, work, and applying for colleges. This event is a chance for students to slow down and be renewed by hearing God's Word and spending time in community. Lessons are more conversational and may include games, projects, and more! Every other Sunday, 6-8pm
CONFIRMATION
Confirmation is a one-year program for students who want to dive deeper into the Christian faith. Some of the topics include the Ten Commandments, the Apostles Creed, the Lord's Prayer, Baptism, Communion, and Confession and Absolution

For their final project, students will write their personal Faith Story and share it in a speech at a Testimony Night for family and friends.

Classes happen in-person, once a month on Sunday nights 6-8pm. There is reading and homework to be done at home in between classes. Each student is also required to bring a parent or supportive adult to each class with them.
Classes begin early November annually.

GIVING
WE NEED YOUR HELP
God continues to be so faithful to our ministry to young people! Since 2020, we have been able to build a youth center, start new programs, go to new camps, start a podcast, and publish our own Bible Studies! We're still adding parent and leadership programs and growing our worship offerings.
