Being a student in 2021 is incredibly difficult and filled with huge decisions. For students, we're here to help you grow your faith in God, your character in a rapidly changing world, and your relationships with other people. For parents, we're here to help you become leaders of faith in your homes and to provide space for you to have conversations about faith and tough issues with your youth.
  • KNOW - Salem Student Ministry is a place where young people can learn more about what the Bible has to say about the tough questions they face every day, who God is, and that the Bible is relevant to our lives even in the 21st century.
  • GROW - Our students can grow in making God-pleasing choices in every area of their lives. They will also grow deeper faith, stronger trust, and broader understanding of the grace God gives them.
  • SHOW - Students can show their faith through worship, the arts, sharing their testimony, and most of all, lives of service to their friends, family, and communities. Our leaders model lives of Christian faith and service to the world.
  • GO - Students are the Church of today, and they can go spread God's Word and make disciples by starting small groups with their peers, organizing servant events, and sharing their faith story with others.

Youth Nights at Salem rotate by age group through the month. Students gather to hangout, play games, and hear a devotion, to grow in their faith and community! Thursdays at 6:30pm!

1st/3rd Thursday: CLUB56

2nd/4th Thursday: JR. HIGH NIGHT

3rd Sunday: HIGH SCHOOL

CLUB56 is for 5th and 6th graders! We spend the first 30 minutes playing energetic games, often that serve as object lessons for the devotion. After a snack and water, students participate in an interactive devotion before heading home with parents!

JR. HIGH NIGHT is for 7th and 8th grade students the first 30 minutes is spent playing games or doing an activity together. After a snack and water, the students hear a message based on that month's Bible passage, and they head home with parents! Jr. High students also are presented opportunities to do service projects for the community with their families!

HIGH SCHOOL RENEWAL NIGHT is for 9th-12th graders. High School students are pulled in a lot of directions between sports, school, church, work, and applying for colleges. This night is a chance for students to slow down and be renewed by hearing God's Word and spending time in community. Lessons are more conversational and may include games, projects, and more!

COLLEGE NIGHT is for any college students or young adults! It is a time for community, conversation, worship, and prayer. After a time of fellowship, students worship through song, hear a message, and head home. There is usually a raffle as well for gift cards, merch, and more!

SSM Groups are a new part of Salem Student Ministry! They are designed to help you grow in community, character, and faith, by meeting together with small groups of other Christians regularly, to discuss your life, faith, current events, and more.

Groups are a blast, and you grow really close with the people in your group, especially when hard things happen (like 2020). Groups meet at the homes of students once a week, and study curriculum provided by SSM! Groups can also meet over Zoom, through SSM's Zoom account.

It's sooo easy to join a Group! Just click the button below, find a group with your friends in your area, and join!

God continues to be so faithful to our ministry to young people at Salem! In 2021, after a year of covid, we were able to add more youth nights, go to camps for the first time in years, grow our discipleship pathways like Confirmation, and more! In 2022, we have even more planned, like a brand new youth building, more family ministry events, new small groups, and we need your help getting there...

If you feel led by the Holy Spirit to give and support our goals, click the button and select "YOUTH (6th-12th) in the dropdown category box.

"If I can help these kids learn about Jesus, find Him in their heart, and share His grace and love with others - then I feel like I am making a positive difference in our kids' lives as they grow up in this crazy world!"
