What I love most about Salem:

I love how welcoming and kind everyone has been.  So many have offered to help me and watch out for me, and with this being my first time really being away from home, that has been so awesome.  Also, I really appreciate the laid-back style and attitude here.

 

My favorite movie quote: 

I communicate in movie quotes, so to pick just one favorite is not possible.... but here's one of the ones that makes me smile: "We don't read and write poetry because it's cute. One of my favorite verses in scripture is:

Is. 41:13

"For I am the Lord, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, 'Do not fear, I will help you." 

 

Some of my favorite hobbies include:

Performing (singing, dancing, acting, etc...), swing dance, travel & exploring, going on adventures to zoos/museums/theme parks/new places, cosplay, thrift shopping, soaking up the sunshine at the beach, video games

My first play - I discovered that I was braver than I thought.
