What I love most about Salem:

What I love most about Salem is the community. I’m so grateful to the teachers, staff, Church, and parents for their warm welcome. It has been a blessing to witness the way they love our students, love Jesus, the Church, and serve with humility, grace, and endurance.  

 

My favorite quote:

One of my favorite verses in scripture is:

Psalm 91:1-2 

He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust."

...Because:

It beautifully depicts God’s faithful love.

 

Some of my favorite hobbies include:

Traveling, reading, drawing/painting, writing poetry, and collecting vintage books. 

 

My favorite school memory as a student is:

As a sophomore in high school, I absolutely loved reading Nathaniel Hawthorne’s The Scarlet Letter for the very first time.
