MEET OUR CHAIR
Mark Iverson has been a member of Salem for 23 years. He has served on the Board of Deacons for several years and currently serves as the Leader of the Board of Deacons. Two of Mark's children are Salem alumni; his youngest child currently attends school at Salem. Mark is a Software Developer for the City of Corona.
“One of my favorite Bible versus is Colossians 3:15 which says And Let the Peace of God rule in your hearts to which also you were called in one body and be thankful. I love this verse because it reminds us that God is the nurturer of the peace in our hearts. We are able to forgive others because God has already forgiven us. We are able to love others as God commands because God has already poured out His love upon us. He shows His love for us through the price His Son paid on the cross for our salvation. He also shows His love for us by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit in us, our comforter, guide, and nurturer of our faith."
