Dear Salem Families,
After much prayer and careful consideration, Salem Lutheran Church has made the difficult decision to cancel this summer’s Vacation Bible School. As many of you know or have heard, our grass field is being completely renovated this summer, which is a huge project. Though we are incredibly excited about the benefits of this project for Salem, it does create challenges to the unique nature of hosting around 200 children on our campus. After re-examining these challenges, we’ve realized it just won’t be possible for us to deliver a quality VBS experience under these constraints.
However, we still want to see you and your family at Salem this summer, so we are planning alternative Family Fun Nights for you to attend. We look forward to sharing more details soon, and we are grateful for your understanding and continued support for Children’s Ministry at Salem.
