What I love most about Salem:

The warm family atmosphere and the amazing people that share a love for Christ.

 

My favorite movie quote:

One of my favorite verses in scripture is:

Romans 12:2 

Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

...Because:

I think this verse is a great reminder that we are a part of this world but ultimately we belong to God through the grace He showed us by sending his Son to take our place on the cross. I look at the second section of the verse as a marker to strive to give Him glory in all God has given me; family, friendship and my life.

 

Some of my favorite hobbies include:

Running, Fishing, Scuba, Yoga, Cooking, and spending time with family and friends.

 

My favorite school memory as a student is:

My 6th grade teacher Mr. Bidler would read after lunch recess. The story I remember the most that year was "The Hobbit", his reading was really one of my favorite parts of my day.
