What I love most about Salem:

I love that Salem has Christ as its foundation and is committed to teaching students about God’s amazing grace.

My favorite movie/tv quote:

One of my favorite verses in scripture is:

Romans 5:8

But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

...Because:

It makes clear that it is not by our works (not even the tiniest little bit) that we are saved from our sins. God did it ALL for us. No other religion proclaims that our salvation has been secured apart from our works. What comfort God’s word provides!

Some of my favorite hobbies include:

Camping, playing Settlers of Catan, building sand castles, writing stories, sewing costumes, and growing sunflower forts.

My favorite school memory as a student is:

Attending elementary school and junior high in a one-room schoolhouse on Palomar Mountain where my family lived for many years.
