What I love most about Salem:

For me, it has been a full-circle experience. I attended Salem and have always had so much appreciation for what the teachers did for me. They showed me grace and love and taught me more than what was in the books. Now as a parent, I get to see the impact that is already being made in my children's lives. The warmth and family vibe that this school has is indescribable. I am honored to be able to contribute to the mission of Salem and share the love of Jesus Christ each day.

One of my favorite verses in scripture is:

Jeremiah 29:11

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

...Because:

I have found strength and comfort in this verse for so many different phases of my life. These powerful words remind me that God prepares us for amazing things and has given us the courage to walk His path. I know I can always trust Him and rest in His constant presence. 

Some of my favorite hobbies include:

Hiking, being outside, volleyball, sports, and having BBQs with my family and friends.

My favorite school memory as a student is:

(Or something I will never forget moment) Probably Mr. Duerr getting a bloody nose during our final game in basketball and continuing to coach with toilet paper hanging out of his nose.
