Number of years at Salem: My first year!

What I love most about Salem:

I love that the community feels like family and everywhere I look I see evidence of others doing things with excellence for God's glory!  

 

My favorite movie quote:

"Don't you love New York in the fall? It makes me want to buy school supplies. I would send you a bouquet of newly sharpened pencils if I knew your name and address." -You've Got Mail 

 

One of my favorite verses in scripture is:

Psalm 71:14-15

But as for me I will always have hope. I will praise you more and more. My mouth will tell of your righteousness, of your salvation all day long, though I know not its measure.

...Because:

This verse reminds me of the salvation we have through Jesus Christ. He is the source of my eternal hope and joy no matter what circumstances come my way. 

 

Some of my favorite hobbies include:

Hiking, Yoga, Baking, Calligraphy, and spending time with my daughters

 

My favorite school memory as a student is:

Reenacting moments from the Revolutionary War in costume (5th grade) and visiting the state capitol (4th grade).
