What Is a ChristCare Group?
ChristCare Groups are gatherings of 5 to 16 people, led by a trained and supervised ChristCare Group Leader, who meet regularly (twice monthly) to reach up to God and out to others through four activities:

• Community Building and Care
  ChristCare Groups are safe, trusting communities where people can support, nurture, encourage, and care for one another.
• Biblical Equipping
  Group members explore God’s Word together and find specific, practical ways to apply it to their everyday lives.
• Prayer and Worship
  Group members grow in their ability to pray and worship God— both individually and as a group.
• Missional Service
  Each ChristCare Group shares the blessings God has given them by reaching out to others with Christ’s care and love.

Growth in Care
ChristCare Groups are loving and accepting communities where people tell their stories, share their struggles, and encourage one another as they experience the ups and downs, joys and sorrows of daily life. All of this in a comfortable, non-threatening, and confidential environment.

State-of-the-Art Materials & Leader Training
ChristCare provides the most complete, practical, and enjoyable small group leader training available. The ChristCare Series includes a proven approach for facilitating mutual support, encouragement, and direction for small group leaders. To be a group leader you do not need to be a Bible scholar, nor must you know the Bible inside and out; you must only have the heart and desire to learn and facilitate group discussion. Group Leader Training is provided through a comprehensive 16-step program. Upon completion of training, Leaders will be commissioned during a special service, then Salem’s ChristCare Equipper Team will assist with group membership, Bible study selection, and on-going training and support.
