Life Lab offers students an opportunity to learn about horticulture and all the outdoor beauties that the Lord created for each of us to enjoy. Life Lab also offers a beautiful setting in which to integrate science, math, reading, environmental studies, nutrition and health.

 

Life Lab will be a tool that our teachers can use as they plan instruction in various subjects. It will be an outdoor classroom where our students will gain hands-on experience. Students will be given the opportunity to plant the seeds of their ideas, nurture them with care, and then enjoy the rewards of their hard work when they see them bloom.

 

By encouraging and supporting our Life Lab, we create opportunities for our students to discover fresh food, make healthier food choices, and become stewards of the Earth by designing, cultivating, and harvesting the garden. The students get excited about learning and they will gain knowledge by tending the garden with their own hard work, as well as a sense of pride, responsibility and ownership.
